Writing on the Wall’s team of Directors and staff have between them vast experience in a range of areas. It is this expertise, developed through our passion, drive and ambition, that has led to Writing on the Wall becoming an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisations – one of just 87 across the country, being Liverpool’s longest running writing and literary organisation and festival, and delivering hundreds of projects that have engaged participants from diverse communities across the north west. WoW have delivered festivals and events for Culture Liverpool, Sefton City Council, Blackpool Library Services, and collaborated with a range of partners, including Liverpool Mental Health Consortium, The Women’s Organisation, Liverpool Pride, Granby CLT, Liverpool, Liverpool Hope and Liverpool John Moores University, and many more to deliver a range of projects and events.

 Writing on the Wall are skilled, and are available for commission to offer advice, support and consultation in the following areas:

Writing on the Wall believe in creativity, community, diversity, artistic excellence and social and economic justice. We are Liverpool’s longest-running writing and literary organisation and festival. We celebrate and inspire creativity and writing in all its forms through inquiry, debate, performance and publishing. Our annual WoWFest brings together local audiences with the best local, national and international writers, artists and social commentators.
