Do you love Science Fiction? Have you ever thought about visiting alien worlds? How about creating one? Liverpool University's Continuing Education CE Saturdays and WOWFEST 2016 present Writing the World, a day of collaborative workshops and writing exercises in which we will create an entire planet, from the geology and landscape to the cultures and customs of its people. During the session, there will be opportunities to build characters and scenarios, and to plan stories, poetry and artwork set on the planet we create. Drafts and completed work can be shared at informal follow-up sessions throughout the festival, and showcased on the project website.
