Flash: In the Dark
Following the huge success of last year's competition we are relaunching our Flash Fiction contest with a horror theme - Flash: In the Dark.You have just 500 words to scare the living daylights out of our readers with your flesh-crawling fiction. Enter with the darkest tale you dare to write using the theme of ‘In the Dark’ and you could reach the spine-tingling final to be held on 8th May.
From skeletons, spectres and serial killers in asylums, graveyards and woods, to banshees, bolt-necks and bloodsuckers in swamps, cemeteries and schools at night - bring your worst nightmares to life in words.

Flash: In the Dark Final
Merseyside's own harbinger of horrors, Ramsey Campbell, will judge your terrifying tales and will also be reading from his own bloodcurdling books.
