Pulp Idol Novel-Writing Competition
Pulp Idol is a unique national writing competition for novelists that focuses on supporting new original voices, getting them heard, and bridging the gap between the national publishing industry and Merseyside. We provide a platform for up-and-coming writers, helping with exposure to new audiences and providing contacts with key publishers and agents.
Pulp Idol’s success has produced some outstanding literary talent throughout the years, none so quickly as this year’s runner-up Ariel Kahn. His spellbinding debut novel ‘Raising Sparks’ was quickly snapped up by awarding-winning north east independent publishers Bluemoose Books, after our phenomenal final at WoWfest 18 in May. Be sure to pick up a copy of his debut novel, when it’s released on July 1st, 2018.
